ZEL TECHNOLOGIES won a $20 million contract with the U.S. Air Force. All of the work for the five-year contract will take place at Patrick Air Force Base and in Melbourne. Zel Technologies will provide radiochemistry laboratory support, program management, simulation and modeling support, and nuclear physics/engineering subject matter expertise. The company is currently hiring, according to their website, for positions in Cape Canaveral–software engineer, senior software engineer, senior electrical engineer and senior computer scientist.

PERATON INC. won an $8.2 million contract with the U.S. Navy to conduct work at Patrick Air Force Base, according to the U.S. Department of Defense. The company’s four-year contract is to provide developmental testing and evaluation scheduling.
