
Water Activities
Wear clothes you don’t mind getting wet and closed toe shoes (water shoes or tennis shoes). You do not have to wear a swimsuit. Shirts required. Secure glasses with a strap.
Whitewater Rafting
The age requirement for rafting is 8+ for Beginner Rafting on the Creek Channel and 11+ for Adventure Rafting on both channels.
Whitewater Tubing
The age requirement for tubing is 8+. Continuous class II+ rapids will be encountered. The ability to swim is mandatory for this activity as it is a self-guided activity. There is a high probability that you will have to swim in moving whitewater multiple times. This is not a lazy river experience.
Flatwater Paddling is offered for children ages 3+.
Children ages 3-5 must provide their own US Coast Guard approved life vest. No puddle jumpers or arm flotation devices are permitted.
Everyone must have shoes with a back strap. Crocs and slides are not allowed. If wearing glasses or sunglasses, we encourage you to secure them with a strap.
Aerial Ropes Course
Manufacturer safety guidelines require all Aerial Ropes Course participants to weigh between 75 and 275 lbs. and have a reach height of 6’. At check in, all participants reach height and weight will be checked.
Close-toed shoes are required. No crocs, slippers, or open-backed shoes. Clothing must be secure on the body. Dresses and skirts are not permitted (skorts permitted). Loose and dangling jewelry must be removed before participation. Long hair must be worn pulled back. A helmet, harness, and all needed hardware will be provided by Montgomery Whitewater.
Waivers
You must arrive with waivers printed and signed. Everyone must have a waiver to participate. Once your waiver is received each guest will receive a wristband. All minors must have a parent or legal guardian sign their waiver. Waivers can be downloaded from our website.
What can I bring?
No outside food or beverages. Personal water bottles are permitted. There are water refill stations at the Basecamp and Raft Barn restrooms. 10 x 10 pop-up tents and chairs can be brought into the park. If you place your tent close to the channels, please note that our River Guards need to be able to move up and down the channels for water safety.
