With a career spanning over 40 years, Chef Panini “Pete” Blohme has built an impressive hospitality empire, featuring six unique restaurants under the PP Hospitality umbrella. His dedication to “real food in his food” has garnered him widespread acclaim and led to his involvement in charitable and industry organizations. His book Spatula Success was recently published.

Speaker: Crystal Hinds, VP of Marketing, Alabama’s Beaches
Crystal will present “Rising with the Tide: Unveiling the New Brand of Alabama’s Beaches”. As VP of Marketing, she leads branding, advertising, and digital strategy and spearheaded the destination’s recent rebrand from Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Tourism to Alabama’s Beaches.
Topic: Institute for Advertising Ethics, Green Shield Course
The IAE Green Shield is a social science-guided course on improving the integrity of environmental communications. We will complete the course as a group. Upon completion, you will receive a verified credential badge that may be shared on LinkedIn and added to resumes. A tablet or laptop will be required for this session.

Jason will speak about the changing landscape: demystifying the Hispanic community in the Southeast. As Vice President for the Telemundo Affiliate at Gray Media, he brings over 30 years of experience leading advertising sales efforts and brand awareness across 44 Telemundo affiliate stations.

Panel discussion with D7 leaders to help you build your best local club board. Following the panel discussion, we’ll work with current club presidents to develop a club manual to hand off to the incoming president.
Attendees who are not a current club president are not required to attend the second half of this session.
District 7 party on the beach including an interactive sandcastle building class. A specialist from Sand Castle University will teach us the best tips and tricks for building amazing sand castles. Be prepared to get a little wet and a lot sandy! Dinner after the sandcastle class concludes.
